The SENDER PLATFORM Bike Stand is part of our NEW RANGE of MODULAR Van Stands designed and manufactured in the UK to transport your bike(s). The PLATFORM is a simple Subframe onto which you connect the Stands and Rails.
The PLATFORM can be removed from your van fully attached to the stands and this will add extra stability to your stands when they are used outside of the van. The Platform Traps the Stands which are otherwise free to move along the rails. This feature allows you to adjust the spacing between bikes INSIDE and OUTSIDE the van.
BUILT TO LAST IN 18 mm PHENOLIC PLYWOOD - WE DO NOT COMPROMISE AND USE 12 mm or LIGHTWEIGHT VAN PLY!
The PLATFORM can also be secured to the inside of your van PERMANENTLY or TEMPORARILY and this will allow you to REMOVE your Stands QUICKLY from the Platform so you cant use them outside! The Stands on the Rails (without the Platform) are very stable and perfect for bike washing and bike set up / display.
Either way you have a low profile transportation system with the ADDED benefit of being able to stand your bikes at the event / car park / trailhead to undertake simple bike maintenance or bike washing.
The 600 / 900 / 1200 Rails plus the Stands can be reused if your ever upgrade to the Drawer Units. The PLATFORMS are standalone frames and are NOT compatible with the UNITS.
There are many ways to secure your platform to the inside of your van / vehicle. You can even remove the tilting adjustable feet and screw the Platform to the floor. The Platforms have plenty of strap and fixing points (straps and fixings not included).
BOTH THE PLATFORM AND THE STANDS have adjustable load bearing feet that interface with the van / ground for stability.
TRAILHEADS WITH NO PLATFORMS:
You can select the Rails and Trailheads without ANY Platform if you are looking for a method of standing your bikes outside your van or at home in the garage. These can be found as separate products in our shop. These would be excellent for Bike Shop Displays.

INSTALLATION AND SECURITY:
It is important that you consider the best set up for your bikes and van before purchasing. There are infinite variations of van and internal layouts. We cannot guarantee that our product is suitable for every van. BUT our MODULAR system provides you with plenty of methods and ways you to orientate / locate and secure your bikes to the main units and then to your van. You may wish to add brackets to screw the unit to the floor. Bikes do not need additional strapping once properly rolled into the stand (depending on how you drive ;) However you can easily strap bikes to the stand. For maximum safety and security you should fix / secure the unit at multiple points to your vehicle.
