Another World First From Sender!
If you purchase Rumble Strips you WILL NEED the corresponding Nut Pack for the Ramp you have!
Our Rumble Strips are manufactured from Birch Core Phenolic Plywood. You can use the strips individually or Stack them to create bigger obstacles. We have included extra bolts to make this possible.
Rumble Strips can ONLY be used on our PRO Straight Ramps which have pre-drilled holes that will accept T Nut fixings. These fixings allow you to attach / bolt our Sender Rocks (Coming Soon) or Rumble Strips.
Both Rocks and Rumble Strips are fantastic for coaching because they add complexity to practice session in ascent or descent. You can alter the direction or configuration and depth of the strips and rocks to add or remove difficulty. Moving them takes seconds.
Rumble Strips can also be offset to create Tree Root Scenarios. Make Flatland Session engaging, challenging and progressive.
You can COMBINE Rocks and RUMBLE STRIPS to make Tree Root and Rock Combinations for added REALISM.
A BEGINNER example of using Rumble Strips or Sender Rocks to create a Rock Garden would be to use them on the Straight UP ramp to access a Tabletop. This forces a rider to change body position and apply more pedal power at the correct time to gain the top. Descending through the same Rock Garden creates new challenges in reverse.
An ADVANCED example using Rumble Strips or Sender Rocks to create a Rock Garden is placing them on the LANDING Ramp of a Double or Single Tabletop Set! This would simulate jumping to land into a Rock Garden or Root Section! This can be intimidating for learner riders!

ADVICE:
The T Nuts and Bolts are made from BZP - You must look after them. We always recommend storing ramps inside and drying them properly. You should use a grease or copper grease on bolt threads and silicone spray T Nuts to maintain function.
We strongly advise treating your strips with the same Timber preservative you use on your Sender ramps and features.
You must always locate the Bolt into the T Nut by finger first to prevent CROSS THREADING. It is easy to damage a T Nut. Once on the thread use a 6 mm key to tighten the Bolt.
WARNING:
Always alter your session to meet the skill level of the riders you are working with. Adding Sender Rocks and Rumble Strips can be intimidating and there is some height involved which can result in crashes.
